DENIED: Zarya-9

Winter 1986. Night shift at highway checkpoint ZARYA-9. Check papers, query plates on a green-phosphor terminal, and approve, deny, detain or report. The pay is per car. The heat bill is due. And the registry says this car was scrapped in 1972.
